Ok so I might be prego. I'ts been since feb 08 since my last period and ive taken 2 prego test back in march and both said neg. Anyways so I get insurance this month through my mom becuz it is cheaper and better through her then my employer. But what I was wondering is if I'm prego and I leave for the 6 week for maternity leave and my employer doesnt pay for that 6 weeks. Is there a program out there that helps people like me get free or low cost maternity leave. I just dont want to be with out pay for 6 weeks. Oh yea my mom is pretty much against me having a kid. How can I find out if the newborn baby would be covered under her plan too. Thanks..

I think you might be asking the wrong people. The Answerbank is a UK-based site. Here, in the UK, we get free healthcare, and maternity leave is for up to 52 weeks (with up to 39 weeks statutory maternity pay). Your references to 'insurance', 'programs' and 6 weeks maternity leave (as well as 'mom', instead of 'mum') suggest that you might be in the USA. If so, you'll probably get better answers by posting on US-based sites. Try these:

thank you.. didnt realize that this was a UK website thank you
Id have thought the most important thing would be to find out if you are actually pregnant surely?

a negative test in March and its now may and you havent tested since? You should be receiving medical care if you are pregnant, scans etc!
