Can anyone really feel sorry for these stupid vain women whose fillers went wrong? I couldn't help but laugh.

Just been watching that. Yes good description of the woman. Will never understand why?

Yes I can feel sorry for them.

I am (reasonably!) happy with what I have, sufficient that I wouldn't spend money to modify myself.

But some are deeply unhappy, and spend their own money to adjust something that bothers them.

Now the reason can be anything from simple vanity at one end, to extreme body dysmorphia on the other.

But if an individual chooses to spend their money to make themselves feel better about themselves, I think it would be very cruel of me to laugh if they have the misfortune of something going wrong.

Lots of things amuse me, the distress of strangers, even if it is self-inflicted, is not one of them.

It would take more than a Brazilian to lift my butt.

lol cassa!
Funnily enough I was reading yesterday about the infamous Katie Price who was posing after having yet ANOTHER butt lift this week, and she just looks deformed!

Awful.  They'd all had lip fillers as well.  Not a brain between them.

Lankeela friend and I watching it both laughed as well.  Couldn't help it.

I just don't get it - do these girls not look in the mirror and realise just how stupid they look??

Ladybirder - We're all different, but laughing at the misfortune of others says something about you, not them.

I think it's self-delusion.  It's like anorexics who look in the mirror and see themselves like Bessie Bunter (anyone remember her?)  I've known a few- one died and another came very near to that.

Now my skinny granddaughter (11) has been 'got at' by the pancake-make-up brigade at school and collapsed from not eating the other week.  This was fortunate, we can now do something about it.

These women do look ridiculous, but I'm so sorry for them if that's all they have to value themselves by. It must be terrible as they age.  Mind you, I wouldn't complain if someone offered to remove a few wrinkles for free!  🤩

Can't beat going about the place like a startled coke fiend.

I can feel sorry for them. It's not vanity. More like massive insecurity.

Oh no jourdain, is she ok??

having had (minor but non-cosmetic) procedures go wrong, yes, I sympathise.

I think so, Smow.  She stood up to them over length of skirt  last term (she announced that she was choosy about to whom she showed her bottom - perhaps not quite in those words, but she isn't crude) and they've had it in for her ever since.

We are watching her carefully.  Thank you so much for asking.  :)x

I had to go to the bank today and caught the schools finishing time. This group of kids aged bout 14/15 I would say walked past me and I'm stunned that the girls were actually allowed to wear what they were  wearing! I'm no prude by any means - far from it - but these schoolgirls skirts were barely covering their knickers!

My heyday was the sixties and mini skirts.  On some they were so short they were described as pelmets. Thank god it was in the days before thongs

It would take more than a Brazilian to lift my butt.

what like a fork lift truck? - I feel sorry for these people with such low self esteem, that they take these risks....

During my schooldays (60s), girls used to roll up their skirts at the waistband on the way to, and from going to school to shorten their length, and put them back to the correct length (well below the knee) while at school. Happy days.

Grrr... @Snowball 21:56...

I knew what you meant lol.

it's an addiction for some, others self loathing, vanity..miriad of reasons
