Good evening all!

I thought that I was heading for a big, fat zero on the main quiz this week, as I got the first five answers wrong! However I managed to get the last two right, so that’s just TWO out of seven for me:

There are some nice, easy questions in the junior quiz this week, which probably explains how I managed to score FOUR out of five:

Good Evening, Chris!

My scores this week are

4/7, 3/5

We had a family birthday celebration gathering last weekend which was lovely.  Another chance to make a fuss of my fur grandpuppy. He makes himself quite at home now and seems to enjoy his visits. He is such a joy.

I have managed to find a few lovely personalised gift ideas for dogs and dog lovers, so am happy that I have at least made a start this year.

Keep us updated on what you and your trio have been up to.

Hope you and the kitties enjoy a wonderful week ahead also. 🙂

Good Evening! 😊

Scores = 3/7 and 3/5 - must pay more attention!

Hi, Karamia!

Well done on bating me (even though that was never going to be very diffilcult this week!)

I'm pleased that you and the puppy are getting along so well.  (Most puppies though seem to want to be friends with everyone anyway!)

There's not much news from here.  I enjoyed seeing Fascinating Aida at the Regent Theatre in Ipswich last Saturday though.  They were just as funny - and just as outrageous - as ever!  (The £6 I had to pay for an evening's parking in the town was pretty outrageous too, I think!)

The Bonkers Bunch are just as crazy/lazy/wonderful as ever.  (Moonbeam had a dodgy tummy for a while during the week and seemed to be off his food for a bit.  However he soon perked up when I roasted some chicken for him and he's absolutely fine now).

I've nothing much planned for the coming week, except that I'll be going to a talk by Paul Heiney (from 'That's Life', 'Watchdog', etc on the telly, as well as being a transatlantic yachtsman) on Monday evening.

I hope that you'll have a lovely week.

Hello again, Moorea7!

I reckon that all the very best people will have an aggregate score of 6 this week 😉

4/7,4/5. Puss Puss and Bailey have been curiously subdued this week, not sure what's going on there. Hope you and the kitties have a wonderful week.

Question Author

You're in the lead at the moment, Campbellking!  Well done!

With regard to the demeanour of Puss Puss and Bailey, I suspect that the old phrase "calm before the storm" might well apply here.  They'll probably go totally berserk, for no apparent reason, very soon 😊

I hope that you'll have a great week.

"They're only easy if you know the answers" 😀

1 on the main quiz, 3 on the junior one

2/7

3/5

Good evening, Buen x

I bet you feel better after seeing my score! 😁

Evening Chris.

3/5

And a couple were guesses  !!

Hope this finds you well  ; ))

Question Author

Thanks, Canary42!

I'm feeling a lot better now 😊

Ooh!  . . . and thank you likewise, Kwillmott and Patsy!

Question Author

Hi, Sam!

I continue to struggle along, thank you.  I hope that you're well too!

It look like people are finding the quizzes rather tricky this week!

6/7 (stupid Games)
3/5

Question Author

Straight into the lead, as (nearly) always, Lie-in King!

Well done!

Good evening . I got four for the kids and three for the adults - 75% guesses, I have to confess!

Hope you and your furry friends are keeping well, chico. We've had a quiet week on the whole. Charley is spreading himself between my husband and me, the traitor!  It looks like we've conquered the fleas ( that's asking for trouble) we haven't seen a live one for quite a while now.

2/7 v 4/7 good start...

4/5 v 2/5  Ooooh...

6/12 v 6/12..... You're such a big kid !

Weather awful. Shady fine.

Having to start negotiating the dreaded C  day, what fun :-)

Hi Chris/Buen,  How are the sprouts doing?  Hope kitties are well.  Our dog has decided that it is time to hibernate (well he is about 14 now).

3/7 and 3/5  = aggregate  6.

Seems that it is you who is the almost perfect child this week.

Question Author

As I've written here many times, Roo, guesses all count!  (My own scores would usually be far lower without them!)

The furries and I are, indeed, keeping well, thank you.  I hope that all is well in your house too.  Charley will, I feel sure, be trying to decide
(a) who's got the warmest knee ;
(b) who's got the softest knee ;
(c) who's most likely to let him sleep undisturbed for longest ; and
(d) who's the most likely to reach for the Dreamies to reward him fo his loyalty 😸

(I'm glad that you seem to have got on top of the flea problem. I must remember to give my lot some freshly-cooked chicken, with crumbled up flea tablets on top, later this week - just as a precautionary measure).

Hiya, Jourdain2.

With the way that the weather's been lately (and is forcast for this weekend), I think that I'd like to join your dog in hibernation 😊.  (The cats would soon wake me from it though when they got hungry!)

Well done on matching my aggregate this week!

The sprouts have now reached the stage where the neighbours have called in council inspectors to invesigate the smell which is pervading the whole street.  So I reckon that they should be just about ready in time for Christmas 😁

Good evening, Haras2!

Well done on matching my aggregate!

The weather's not been too great here either.  (The antenna for my transceiver is nothing more than a bit of wired that's stuffed into the tall bushes at the front of my house.  Whenever we get a bit of wind, I have to get outside on the next day and use a long pole to put it back to where it's meant to be.  I seem to have been spending plenty of time 'up the pole' lately!).

I'm glad that Shady is well and, obviously, I hope that you are too!

Best wishes for the week ahead and for getting your C plans sorted out smoothly!

Not a clue on some but Nasa dropped a tool kit! in space Baffoons. I went for camera

Main: 3/7
Jnr: 4/5

You've beaten me, anyway, Arky!

Well done!
