Bbc Quiz : Week 46
Good evening all!
I thought that I was heading for a big, fat zero on the main quiz this week, as I got the first five answers wrong! However I managed to get the last two right, so that’s just TWO out of seven for me:

There are some nice, easy questions in the junior quiz this week, which probably explains how I managed to score FOUR out of five:

My scores this week are
4/7, 3/5
We had a family birthday celebration gathering last weekend which was lovely. Another chance to make a fuss of my fur grandpuppy. He makes himself quite at home now and seems to enjoy his visits. He is such a joy.
I have managed to find a few lovely personalised gift ideas for dogs and dog lovers, so am happy that I have at least made a start this year.
Keep us updated on what you and your trio have been up to.
Hope you and the kitties enjoy a wonderful week ahead also. 🙂
Hi, Karamia!
Well done on bating me (even though that was never going to be very diffilcult this week!)
I'm pleased that you and the puppy are getting along so well. (Most puppies though seem to want to be friends with everyone anyway!)
There's not much news from here. I enjoyed seeing Fascinating Aida at the Regent Theatre in Ipswich last Saturday though. They were just as funny - and just as outrageous - as ever! (The £6 I had to pay for an evening's parking in the town was pretty outrageous too, I think!)
The Bonkers Bunch are just as crazy/lazy/wonderful as ever. (Moonbeam had a dodgy tummy for a while during the week and seemed to be off his food for a bit. However he soon perked up when I roasted some chicken for him and he's absolutely fine now).
I've nothing much planned for the coming week, except that I'll be going to a talk by Paul Heiney (from 'That's Life', 'Watchdog', etc on the telly, as well as being a transatlantic yachtsman) on Monday evening.
I hope that you'll have a lovely week.
Good evening . I got four for the kids and three for the adults - 75% guesses, I have to confess!
Hope you and your furry friends are keeping well,chico. We've had a quiet week on the whole. Charley is spreading himself between my husband and me, the traitor! It looks like we've conquered the fleas ( that's asking for trouble) we haven't seen a live one for quite a while now.
As I've written here many times, Roo, guesses all count! (My own scores would usually be far lower without them!)
The furries and I are, indeed, keeping well, thank you. I hope that all is well in your house too. Charley will, I feel sure, be trying to decide
(a) who's got the warmest knee ;
(b) who's got the softest knee ;
(c) who's most likely to let him sleep undisturbed for longest ; and
(d) who's the most likely to reach for the Dreamies to reward him fo his loyalty 😸
(I'm glad that you seem to have got on top of the flea problem. I must remember to give my lot some freshly-cooked chicken, with crumbled up flea tablets on top, later this week - just as a precautionary measure).
Hiya, Jourdain2.
With the way that the weather's been lately (and is forcast for this weekend), I think that I'd like to join your dog in hibernation 😊. (The cats would soon wake me from it though when they got hungry!)
Well done on matching my aggregate this week!
The sprouts have now reached the stage where the neighbours have called in council inspectors to invesigate the smell which is pervading the whole street. So I reckon that they should be just about ready in time for Christmas 😁
Good evening, Haras2!
Well done on matching my aggregate!
The weather's not been too great here either. (The antenna for my transceiver is nothing more than a bit of wired that's stuffed into the tall bushes at the front of my house. Whenever we get a bit of wind, I have to get outside on the next day and use a long pole to put it back to where it's meant to be. I seem to have been spending plenty of time 'up the pole' lately!).
I'm glad that Shady is well and, obviously, I hope that you are too!
Best wishes for the week ahead and for getting your C plans sorted out smoothly!
