so many tributes on line this morning
he did a lot for cats and dogs bless him rip
I never liked him. He was obsessed with cats and dogs, and for some reason, that got him on TV. It's a shame that he's dead, but he won't be missed by me.

can think of worse things to be obsessed about Clarion.. he also helped many kids as a social worker before becoming an entertainer...
Not for me, thanks.
Oh God NO. I thought he didn't look well on his Christmas Battersea show, older than his years. I am shocked to read this and couldn't believe it when I saw the thread. I'll miss his wonderful show and I hope they do a tribute to him. I can't believe this lovely, kind hearted man has gone, I will miss him. So sad. RIP lovely, lovely man.
I confess it's not often I shed a tear for the passing of celebrities, but I did this morning. Such a kind-hearted man.
Mmmm. Come on folks. Don't go overdo it!
Clarion, we get it that you're not bothered. We do ... we really do.
Question Author
a lot of people felt very close to him through his progs... you may not Clarion but that does not detract from the very many that did !
I'm so upset at this news. I, too, was looking forward to his new radio show. They say animals can tell a good one and everything loved Paul from elephants to chihuahuas. Let's hope he's with his pig Tom Tom, dogs Buster and Olga and Cilla, what a party that would be. He'd been playing Miss Hannigan in Annie, I'm not sure if that has finished. My thoughts are with his husband and family. If anyone deserves to RIP, it's Paul.
