If it gives them any comfort/recompense at all or only validation that they and their loved ones were not at fault then it's a good thing.

My nephew and his stepfather were there and although the lad had nightmares for some time, he has not suffered long term as far as I know.
I have the front page of the paper the day after that shows his terrified face as he is crushed from behind towards the fence.

I don't think it was ever about the money, though, was it. It was all about having someone be held to account for a catalogue of errors and cover-ups, before, during and after the terrible incident.

you gotta laugh at these lawyers as they selectively quote and mislead - doncha love them ?
I thought it was obvious that they settled because they thought the criminal case would go the other way

I just don't get it, plod covered up some cock ups, that's not disputed. I hope one day they'll focus on the true cause of the disaster.
