who's watching, can Wales do it? I think they can but it won't be easy. I'd love England v Wales in the final.

I am watching it.
Springboks are the more impressive side.....but this is a one off match.........however, I do fancy Wales to win.
Wales .. they will win if it comes down to national anthems .. I am sure it will be close.
Batten down the hatches !

bit dull so far guys!
Question Author
looks like both sides are trying to not lose rather than trying to win. Not a patch on yesterday.
Still anyone's game. Both sides look a tad pensive.
Scrappy and far too much inaccurate kicking.
Ugly at the moment.
quite a boring game, lots of kicking.
Think we have possibly seen the best game we are likely to see .. yesterday. Only a penalty score between them, so plenty time yet.
Boks win and deservedly so.
Poor game, but in the semi's it is all about winning.
England should go into the final as favourites.
Not a great game, but the best team won.

Penalties for coming in from the side in a maul absolutely drives me nuts - professionals should know better, so Wales have nobody to blame but themselves.
Brutal!
What a terribly poor apology for a game - it’s a shame both sides couldn’t lose.

Yesterday was a feast of Rugby skills, today was a dire farrago - total poverty of ambition shown by both sides - an endless parade of (poor) kicks and naff all handling unless the (highly dubious) ref had already awarded a penalty advantage.
That was as dull as yesterday was scintillating.
I hope that ref isn't doing the final. Maybe since it's England v South Africa, Nigel Evans will be asked - one of the very best.
Unfortunate but not unexpected.
Here's to an England win in the final, then.
I only caught second half but Wales did have their chances.
Tony....chances? chances to do what ? certainly not to score a try.
That is if we were watching the same game.
No doubt SA will use the same frustrating tactics v England in the final and that's something our lads will have to overcome. We will most likely start as favs but our record v SA isn't particularly good, standing at 25 to the Boks and 15 to us. Broken down as follows (SA score first); Matches played in England; 11-10, matches played in SA; 11-4, matches played at a neutral venue; 3-1 (including the WC Final in France in 2007). There have been just 2 drawn matches. Stats aside, if we can play as we did yesterday, despite negative tactics from the opposition, we can lift the trophy:-)
sqad with score equal with a few minutes left. Think final score says it all.
Tony...our point was about chances and i was responding to you post mentioning chances that Wales had.

Whatever the score and however close, I look back at the match and cannot recall ANY chances that Wales had......even HALF chances......even a disallowed try........NOTHING.
Boo-hoo.
