Tremendous performance from the England bowlers and batsmen. Jason Roy was imperious, wonderful footwork and wrist action.(no sniggering at the back of class) Fancy young Archer could go on to be something special. I was not at first happy about dropping Moeen Ali as spinner but Rashid has been critical when we needed a wicket. Satisfied for now and can enjoy a couple of days contemplating that we have made the final. This Kiwi team are not going to roll over. We will again need our A game and then a B game if it gets sweaty. Wish we were staying in Birmingham, it feels more like "home" than London.

As yet, England are the only Nation to have won the Football and Rugby Union "World Cups". If we were to win the Cricket World Cup, could anyone else ever match it?

Yes, most cricketing countries are always very low in the football rankings. I don't ever recall India, Pakistan or Sri Lanks getting anywhere near a football world cup and the likes of Australia, New Zealand, South Africa are only ever on the periphery of the football world cup. England are in a unique position of being pretty good at all three sports and I can't think of anyone else who could ever come close to winning all three
