Is it my hearing ---but every time I hear the snooker commentaters at the world championships say CRUCIBLE, it sounds like CRUCIVLE. Or is that the way it should be pronounced??

Don't watch snooker, but IMO it should be pronounced with a definite B (not a V)

It's a B for sure. I gambled on Ronnie winning another Championship so I'm happy for it to be called anything!!
