What do we think of the Sky F1 Coverage? On the whole, I thought, pretty good, I was impressed that they didn't do an ITV and interupt it with adverts. Did anyone else find the main comentator (David Croft??) an annoying shrieker? Oh and congrats to Jensen.

Camera wise, brilliant, give David Croft a chance to settle in to TV coverage and he will be excellent, being a radio commentator he has allways had to speak more and elaborate, a few more GP under his hat and I think he will be excellent.
No Epic Fail...they have tried to copy something that can't be copied...I'll stick with the three amigos on the BBC
I don't have Sky but must say the Highlights show on BBC was very good. Didn't miss much at all.
I don't have Sky either but watch Sky's F1 channel online for free here ;-p

I thought about upgrading to HD to get the F1 channel included free but that meant £123 on top of my normal subs. I decided it was a bit steep just to watch the other half of the season that BBC don't have live.
The preview show a few days ago was good though, if that's their standard then it'll be a job well done.
In the meantime I'm going to sit by the phone and wait for the call with the special offer of a free upgrade. :)
Of what I've seen the launch show was the best of it. Don't forget its the FOM that provide the pics, not Sky, they just use some elements of the technology better. BBC wins hands down and even though I have Sky HD it doesn't encourage me to watch.
As far as coverage of the race itself goes I think there was hardly any difference to the Beeb.It was comforting to have the irritating Martin Brundle move over with it.
