If he kicks it over his own crossbar, yes, otherwise goal kick.

hoppy, no why would it be?

If a ball goes over the back line after a defender touches it, then a corner is given.
The crossbar is effectively part of the back line so it must be a corner.
err no! do they play football on your planet?
the woodwork, referees, linesmen etc are part of the apparatus, geddit?
Why is this even a question? Is there money riding on it?

Jim F has given one answer.

TTT seems to think everyone knows it's the opposite.

Can anyone else help please?
IFAB Laws of the Game 2021-22
Law 17: The Corner Kick
"A corner kick is awarded when the whole of the ball passes over the goal line, on the ground or in the air, having last touched a player of the defending team, and a goal is not scored.

A goal may be scored directly from a corner kick, but only against the opposing team; if the ball directly enters the kicker’s goal a corner kick is awarded to the opponents."

I love the second part of the above!

Thanks Mamy. TTT is wrong then.
TTT is wrong, JimF's answer was correct.
Let's say he is mistaken on this occasion.

TTT, your move.
jim is correct, please, brainless *** tell me where I am wrong?? The woodwork is not effective in any decision, end of. The apparatus does not effect any decision, even for really stupid people. Capiesch?
I wonder what he'll make of my post. I hope I haven't made some silly mistake, or he'll be impossible to live with!
