If I Stop Supporting United Who Should I Support

I was thinking Watford or QPR. Watford is 5.5 miles away and QPR is 6.7 miles away but QPR's season tickets are cheaper. Which club do you think i should support?

My dad has always stayed loyal to Leyton Orient. It is where he was born and raised. He still goes to a few of the home matches and he's in his 80's!

Quite so Clover/Andy/QM - I cordially dislike football (certainly the 'overpaid cheating hairdressers' variety as evinced in the Premier League).

I have no interest at all in the results and/or leagues ... but ... but ... but ...

... I still look for Wolves results each week - I was born there, it's in my blood and seems impossible to eradicate. The concept of chasing success and becoming (say) a Villa supporter is just impossible to understand.

I reject the "one where you were born" rule (I was born in Penge), and would replace it by "the one where you first started watching". Which is why I still support Norwich City even though I moved away over 45 years ago (after 15 years regular attendance at Carrow Road). Subsequent "local" teams include Swindon, Stevenage, Brentford, Fulham and Pompey, but no way will I desert Norwich, that would be heresy ;-)

My "support" now is remote, I rarely attend any games.

why do you feel you need to support anyone, after all if you need advice on who to support you can't be that big a fan. personally i never have understood what enjoyment people (mainly blokes)get from watching 22 grown men chasing a bag of wind around a field and don't get me started about rugby.

Firstly I've never lived in Manchester I've always lived in London and because of this I've only ever been to 2 games none of which in old Trafford I want to go to more games and be a 'real' supporter and not a 'glory hunter' and I don't see how changing to Watford or QPR would make me more likely to see a trophy being lifted if I wanted that I'd stay with United or switch to Spurs or Arsenal.
