He saw the future at ManU and it didn't look too clever - and how right he was!

Ageing players either injury prone/past their best (or both) - Vidic, Ferdinand, Evra, Carrick, Giggs

Younger players not good enough quality compared to when United were top dogs - Rafael, Jones, Smalling, Cleverley, Evans, Wellbeck, Hernandez

(Jones and Smalling are supposed to be Uniteds future central defensive partnership, if that's the case and they are good enough why are they both constantly played out of position - Jones in centre midfield and Smalling at right back)?

Expensive signings who flopped - Nani, Young, Kagawa

I can see ManU 'doing a Liverpool' - years as top dogs followed by years of mediocrity

The heart bleeds :-)

I hate to say it, but on current form and if I were a betting man I'd put my money on FT... Arsenal 3-1 United.
I agree with you Arksided so to cheer us up -

Hopkirk, now that truly was a memorable game! My mate played with Laurie Cunningham at Leyton Orient in the early seventies and said he was a genius even then! And a gentleman.
There was a programme about Laurie Cunningham on recently - he was a genius who never quite realised his full potential.
Dave to quote the great keano
See you out there ;-))
Ric.Ror - to quote the great Vieira - Oui, En Effet!
Ric.ror, some great memories in them.

Not as far back as Arsenal fans have to, wondering what a trophy looks like.
But not as far into the future as Manure fans are going to have to look for a return to success. At least your midweeks will be free next season! Cos you probably won't even get the Thursday night challenge, although I hope you do, as it messes up anyone's season who plays in it.
Well Moyes certainly won't last Seven seasons trophy-less (like some), he might not make it to three, some are calling for the chop already. I'm disappointed but not one of them. I for one certainly don't want them to be in the Europa league, even if that does mean finishing as we are.
Anyone got a link for tonight
It's not on sky
