It's obvious, with Jose moving in to Chelsea, Benitez will be taking over at Old Trafford.

Same as this and probably the next
Who do you think, just look at my avatar.
why what's happened to the Boss?
Rumours are that Fergie is stepping down..... and The Special One will be taking the hotseat.

Rumours.
It's a bit like a poison chalice for whoever takes it on, now or in the future. The only way is down, .....no pressure then?

Isn't it the job that Jose really wants?
According to Rafa, Jose is on his way to Chelski
Smart money seems to be on Moyes, and Everton have nothing to look forward to, next season. Jose said he'd only go where he is loved, but Benitez said today that he's offski from Chelski and JM would be the replacement.

The plot thickens...

Jose may have been planning on Chelsea, but his head might be turned if this job comes up.
As I've said before I believe Man Utd have wanted Mourinho for a long time so Fergie may decide if he doesn't go now they will miss their opportunity.

The only problem I can see is that Mourinho never stays anywhere for long.

David Moyes or Howard Webb for United job.
Benitez is far and away the most overrated manager in the game imho.

Rafa will probably take the reins at St James' Park.
I think Fergie has recommended Moyes for the job

Jose is too far up his own arse for a job like that and will go back to Chelsea, they deserve each other
Please God, not Jose...................I like looking at him but that's about it.
Jose's too smarmy a character to be at OT as said above well suited for Chelsea.

I for one are confident SAF will be there next season with perhaps a more likely understudy to take over after he goes... Ole Gunnar Solskjaer maybe.
From the article: With United now forced to adhere to the strict rules and regulations of the New York Stock Exchange in terms of the release of significant information

What part of that don't reporters get their heads around... he CAN'T say he's staying or going.
I think we should get away from the idea of another manager for 26 years (moyes) - the Glazers are never going to allow us to reach mid table one season and then progress upwards like Sir Alex did
I guess it will be someone like Jose (who is ok for the eye candy but nothing else)
I thought he would stay a couple more seasons and then maybe Pepe - not to be it seems
