It's obvious, with Jose moving in to Chelsea, Benitez will be taking over at Old Trafford.

what about Paul Lambert
doubt very much if it will be arsene wenger
Oi.^^^^^^
I actually would not mind Wenger
Ryan Giggs

It shouldn't be forgotten that Mourinho was effectively dumped by Chelsea and I cannot imagine why he'd want to go back there, but he likes being perverse so ...
ichkeria - Money will take him back to Chelsea
Not Giggs (yet)
I think one of the reasons for the success of MUFC is the continuity in having the same manager for years; for having the confidence in him to rebuild the team time and again and still have a winning formula at the end.

I'm not sure 'The Special One' would be prepared to commit years to United. I think Moyes would be a safe pair of hands and would be content to remain in the position without flitting off to pursue other challenges, although whether he actually has the 'flair' for management at such a high profile team as this remains to be seen.

The Special One's methods only work for a couple of years in one place, but at least they would get continued success for a while.

What has David Moyes actually won?
Hopkirk, who do you think it will be?
I agree with you JTH and Hopkirk too

Love or hate him (I think you can guess where I stand) we are seeing the end of an era today

Someone who isn't being talked about, like Fabio Coppello or Carlo Ancelotti.
A long shot, Walter Smith?
I did suggest Ole Gunnar Solskjaer but as an understudy as he's too young to take full charge. I think Moyes would be best choice but I've a creepy feeling its going to be a stop-gap for Jose' until he's offered the Brazilian job.
Gordon Brown be my choice,he is really good at sorting things out!!
I suggested ole a while ago when I thought Sir Alex would have a few more years

Bookies are going with moyes though
I agree Barney. Gordon Brown would be an excellent choice. He has vast experience in spending Billions of pounds of other people's money. If he did the same thing at Old Trafford he may have better luck than he did in his old job.
Spotted yesterday on a forum frequented by scousers:

/Maggie Thatcher is dead, Fergie has retired; so who's got the Magic Lamp and what are you going to do with your third wish?/
Ryan Giggs has turned down the opportunity to manage Man Utd. It's claimed he wants to spend more time with his brothers family.
