Hello all

I was watching the Osasuna - Barca game earlier and the bilious green strips Barca players wore got me thinking.
Is there a regulation that prevents a team playing in 'grass' coloured strip?

No.

The Laws of the Game only require that the teams must wear different colours, which distinguish them from each other and also from the referee and assistant referee. Further no political, religious or personal slogans or statements must be displayed or revealed.

La Liga will also have their own regulations regarding such things as the displays of sponsors' names and logos.

probably a flight of fancy on my part(too much IPA), if you became invisible it would be to your own team as well as the opposition.
I seem to remember Man U had a problem some time back and changed strip at half-time.
When I used to referee the pubs and clubs I frequently had problems with opponents who regarded their kits as different but which were a nightmare to distinguish in reality.

For example, two shades of blue might look very different when the teams walk onto the pitch but when there are a dozen players within a yard or two of the goal line and you're trying to spot whether a forward is offside it's a very different matter!
