We're having bubble and squeak, fillet of salmon and a poached egg. Cottage pie for Conan The Destroyer.

What's amusing your bouche later?

Beef stir fry with thick noodles.
Question Author
That's the sort of thing my husband would like, Barsel. I'm not struck on noodles but the beef sounds nice.
I add an Oyster and spring onion sauce and it's really tasty. Love the smell when I'm cooking it.
Sauteed potatoes, salmon and samfire.
Question Author
That does sound nice, Barsel.

Edmund - your dish sounds lovely. I do love samphire. We took my parents out for lunch last Sunday and three of us had these amazing scallops with crab and dill fritters, fennel purée and samphire to start. They were exquisite!
I can't decide whether to go to LadyCG's or Edmund's.
I think we might be having hot dogs. Very retro.
Tonight it's sausage and cheese stuffed Portobello mushrooms with more cheese on top, and crispy pancetta.
Not sure yet LCG, maybe Freezer Bingo
Being taken out, granddaughter's birthday so it'll probably be burgerish! Out again tomorrow night, pub quiz back on for now, the nets will be moving across the road, three times in a week, went for tea on Sunday too! I'll be getting a reputation, can't wait, never had one before.

Pasta... yum!

That sounds nice, Zacs. I don't think I've had a hot dog of sorts since I went to Munich last year.

What, a burger or a reputation, Zebo? ;-)
No idea. Supermarket are delivering in the next hour, but I cant remember what I put on the list now. I think there might be some gammon steaks coming so it could be gammon, egg and chips. Failing that it will be beans on toast. I am tired and still in pain with my arm and I really cba to cook.
Whoa, you're nearly having the same meal as me.
Salmon fillets, crispy diced potatoes, steamed cabbage & sweet corn.
Steak with a mushroom sauce, I was going to do Diane sauce but I don't have brandy and I can't be bothered to go to the shop, roast spuds and veg.
Home made cheese and onion quiche with garlic bread and a slice of banana cake afterwards, which my niece made for me.

Not had bubble and squeak for ages.

Bobbi, I should really start playing freezer bingo. We have two freezers full of food and rather soon we are going to have to start using up what we've got before we rip the kitchen out and knock it all into one.

What have you done to your arm, BM?
white chilli chowder
More detail please, bednobs...
I dont know, Lady. Think I may have trapped a nerve because I did have pins and needles a few weeks ago. Now it is a pretty constant pain on my upper arm, even at rest. Trouble is, it keeps me awake at night.

Dr was meant to call the other day and he didnt and it had eased by then so I didnt push it; but now it is back with a vengence.
