At last my son -in - law has worked out how to add me to his Netflix account, but how do you find out what's on? It isn't in my TV magazine. Is there a Netflix magazine or a website that tells you what's on? TIA.

It is not run on a schedule, everything is on all the time.

Just open Netflix on your TV and browse.
Have you got FB and Alexa?
It gives you the latest top 10 shows and you can also search for things that have been recommended. Just scroll down and across as well.
it's quite easy Barsel, when you hit the icon your son in law will have you Mum? Mum in law? your name, in one of the windows, just click on that and browse away

ummmm I'm on FB but don't have Alexa. I only have Freeview before and there is a website I go on that gives everything that's on all the stations for the coming week.
Bobbs, my daughter talked me through it, how to click on the icon but I never thought to ask how do you know what's on and when. So you just browse until you see something you want to watch. I'll have a go.
It is 'on demand' viewing ..you click on what you want to watch and then watch it .. there and then .. !
yes Barsel, it will be in categories such as Drama, Comedy etc, just click on that although there is also an A-Z menu as well giving you everything on there, good luck

alavahalf so what sort of things are on there? The reason I wanted it was so I can watch The Crown and I believe I can watch it right from episode 1 but I have no idea what else is on, is it films? I know it's stuff I can't get on Freeview so I suppose I'll just work it out as I go along.
Question Author
Bobbs I see now, I'm sure I'll work it out somehow. :-)
I think that might be in Drama Barsel?

I've just realised Facebook has changed it's format and I'm still working my way round that!

Thanks for the link Sunk and thanks to all for your answers. x
We get emails of new releases, some are good some aren’t worth bothering with.
We both tend to go through all the lists periodically and add anything which appeals to our individual list, then when we’re looking for something to watch just have a look at what we’ve each earmarked and give one of those a go.
Also, search here on AB, there are quite a few threads of recommendations.
Vagus, Unorthodox being one

I hate it too Bobbs. I've just found some messages going back to June that I didn't know were there, and now they say my account has been compromised? and I've had to change my password!
Unorthodox was totally riveting.
