Persuaded by friends to go to see her live show in Dundee. Like her voice but not a great fan and not a gig I would have chosen to go to see. However, her show last night was just fabulous, what a voice and range. So glad I went.

I'll happily go to any concert or gig and I've been pleasantly surprised more often that disappointed.

She does have a wonderful voice. Does she cope well with communication with the audience Maggie, considering she is autistic. She did have problems initially?

Am I the only one who thinks she has a voice like a cat on heat? Maybe her voice does not sound as good recorded as live but I seriously cannot stand listening to her shrill offerings ;-)

She's not my cup of tea, but she's certainly got a good voice. I just have no desire to hear it :-D

Went to see the Susan Boyle Story about 10 yrs ago at Newcastle theatre Royal, it was a very touching storing about her life with Elaine C Smith ( Mary Doll from Arab C Nesbit) taking the part of Susan , she was protected at home by bullies, who were awful to her,when her Mum passed away leaving her alone in the family home with just her beloved cat for company,Susan dreamt her Mum was telling her to tell people she could sing and never be afraid of anyone, that’s why she auditioned for BGT, at the end of the show, the lady herself came on to a blacked out stage and sang the song from BGT, you could have heard a pin drop in the auditorium that night , I have a friend that lived close by to Susan who often pops up to see her family and into Susan’s for a wee blether

As far as I am aware Susan Boyle harms no one. No scandals follow her. I see no point in being nasty about her .

If you are referring to me Anne I'm not being nasty at all about her -I'm sure she's a lovely person and has overcome so much to get where she is. I just don't like her singing voice so for goodness sake wind your neck in.

Jenkins has a good voice, but I can't bear listening to it.

I think Susan Boyle is fabulous, I would love to see her perform. I like the sound of the show Bobbs saw.
