in order to give christians a break.Probably the first time that Iv'e agreed with him.Personaly, I find Islam more abohrent than christianity as it is still living in the dark ages.
Islam honours a peadophile (Mohammed) as a prophet,
Muslims hate the west and yet choose to live here and accept our handouts,
They make death threats in a country that allows free speech (salman rushdie)
They demand to wear face coverings in a country that is under terroist attack from people of their own faith,
Some islamic countries still carry out the barbaric practice of stoning people to death (like to see the christian response to this one...)
Could go on forever really.

I've read the Koran and it's quite contradictory. The thing is Doctor Spock, Islam isn't just a religion - it's a whole way of life - and this is what is going to be shoved down our throats as time goes on. Our country is changing out of all recognition, and with the curtailment of freedom of speech and laws turning practically all free thought into a 'phobia' of some sort rather than an opinion, it's going from bad to worse. Many people seem to jump on the politically correct bandwagon and accept these laws, and many have become complacent, but what happens to those who do speak out? They're hauled off to jail - but only if they're an indiginous Brit.
Many muslims do truly hate the west, and they're never going to change. They're fanatics, they're barbarically cruel and they think in a completely different way to western people. There could be no reasoning with them because they don't 'live and let live'. It's more likely they'd say 'live our way or not at all'.
A friend of mine, married to an Englishman, told me she was Buddhist, and for five years I believed her. One day she said she needed to confess she'd lied because she is in fact muslim but she doesn't tell anyone. She hates what the muslims are doing - and what we're allowing them to do - and so do I. The lunatics have taken over the asylum, and this is no longer a free country.

If you read my post about why the british sailor had to use a scarf, you will see (if you are interested) my opinions on them. Honestly? I have a friend who is muslim, but she doesn't cover her face or head so she seems to be more liberal. Apart from her, I don't like muslims in geneal. Myself I didn't have anything agains them before coming to live in England but now I do. They think they can rule everything and that the government has to please them because of moral debts from the past.
Foreigners like me have to expose ourselves so much, show we have money, show we are not interested in claiming benefits, while for THEM everything is made easier. I read they have discount in taxes to open their business and other situations, really made me p*ssed.
And the episode I mention about a baby being forbidden to touch my baby's friend, was exactly in a shopping centre in Stoke-on-Trent, so I imagine what you are saying about being islam-on-trent....
This girl she is Brazilian like me and she lives in Stoke for some years already, she has faced many bad moments with muslim people, mostly the women. She is now in hospital in need of a liver transplant and she admitted that she is even enjoying being there for some days to "have a rest" and stay in peace for some days!!!

And there's more, apart from fanatics, many of them can be quite ignorant. When I was talking to this friend of mine who is a muslim, it was the first "problem" I had with her, although I didn't show, but really made me irritated.
We were talking about cooking, and I said my chicken risotto is delicious, she felt interested and I was giving her the recipe.
When I said that in some point you needed to add half a cup of white wine to boil with the rice, she said then she couldn't eat that.
I asked why, she said because of the wine.
Come on!!! You have to be STUPID!!! Go back to school and see in chemistry that the alcohol will evaporate, what stays is the flavour... I wasn't telling her to go and get drunk with a whole bottle of wine, I was just giving a recipe.
Myself I almost don't drink alcohol so I would never be stimulating anybody to drink, but using it in fodd is a whole new story. ARGHHH I really don't have patience with stupidity and ignorance....
