If you do, she's introduced herself on the "Quoting the Bible" thread.

The Prophet's a 20 year old lass?
No way.
Question Author
Curious, eh, Llamatron? And if it's true, and if she's serious, very, very sad.
I have my doubts nearly 20 years old and Brenda is not a name used that often for girls in the last 20 years.
You are right coco, I did a little bit of detective work and the last time "Brenda" was listed as a popular name was the 1960's.
Still, if it's true, who are we to question her parents choice of name?
The conundrum continues.
Question Author
I've got my doubts too. Apart from the name, it seems an odd way for a 20 year old to carry on.

My feet are on the yellow brick road as I'm off to see the wizard.
So I'm ok.
Question Author
So tell us what you believe, Brenda. Do you belong to a specific church?
Question Author
Llamatron, you'll no doubt meet the Wizard on this yellow brick road before long! :o)
I'm sorry Brenda , it's not working.
I have bags of faith but none of it is directed toward religion and your words do not lift me up but drag me down to that bottomless pit your so fond of telling those of us that do not follow your ways will end up in.
Yes, this is the "Religion and Spirituality " section but that does mean that you get to either ask, answer or be part of a debate.
Your contribution alway's seems biased with no accomodation to others or their views.
I apologise, that last post of mine was rather harsh.
Brenda, If you have a story to tell then by all means give us the chance to realise why you have presented yourself in the manner you speak.
Is it difficult because of your religious upbringing to stray from the biblical stance?
someone wanted to see me???
Question Author
Aha!! Wizard!! There you are. Llamatron's off up the yellow brick road looking for you.
i see the prophet as someone having a laugh and winding us all up, some regular ABer using another name is the most likely culprit.
you can meet the Prophet having a drink with Peter May in the Long Bar at Lords Cricket Ground

A Plymouth Brethren (Sistren ?!?).......from the style of some of the language. Thee-ing etc..........
You could be right Marvelman. For all we know the Prophet could be a man nearing his sixties living in , say, rural Sussex. Peter E
Question Author
You could be right Peter. Hey! It's not you, is it?
