Thanks Khandro. We all get a bit worked up at times. No hard feelings.

Khandro, could ou answer my question at 11:58 Sun please?

Question Author

naomi; I never told my children when they did wrong they were 'sinners' I merely pointed out the error of their ways & gave a reason, didn't you?

And as for bourkas etc. You know my view on Islam.  I can sum it up in this way;

When Jesus came upon a woman accused of adultery about to be stoned he said, "He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.”

In a similar situation in the Koran Mohammad said, "Stone her"   (in words to that effect.)

Please don't make the mistake of using the extremities of Islam (& there are many) to dismiss all the other religions of the World, - & anyway this thread is about a burgeoning Christian revival.

Khandro, As expected, you've ducked the question.  You shouldn't make statements that to anyone with an iota of common sense are patently ridiculous if you're not prepared to support them.

Question Author

Unless I've misunderstood something I've answered your questions perfectly clearly

No, Khandro, you haven't.  You've told me what you taught your children - and then dismissed what you call 'the extremities of Islam'.  The simple fact is religion doesn't teach what you taught your children.  It is not awesome and dynamic - it's cruel.

Question Author

^^^ Quatsch! (that's German for 'Rubbish'!) 😮

If religion is awesome and dynamic why didn't you teach your children what it teaches?

naomi; I see you are starting one of your silly, augmentative procedures where you continue tediously until your poor antagonist gives up (as now) & you can then claim to have 'won'. 🙄

Khandro - You seem to get a lot of those, but the reality is, you have no argument, so you pick up your ball and go home.

Perhaps the most important question should be. Who wants a Christian revival in this country, and I mean really wants it?

Because if God does bring it some people here are going to start feeling silly

Not as silly as those when it doesn't happen, which is the reality, rather than the pointless wish.

Andy Hughes, thank you.  That's exactly what khandro is doing.  Pathetic.

fiveleaves, who wants it? Tell us.

naomi - // fiveleaves, who wants it? Tell us. //

He, and the people who think like him do ... er ... that's all really.

naomi - // Andy Hughes, thank you.  That's exactly what khandro is doing. //

You are most welcome.

At least he responds to your posts, until you let him paint himself into a corner and flounce off, which you do with consumate ease.

He claims not to read mine ...

There are many on here Who write on here. BUT.Who mock God's word. And criticized the belief of those who do their best .to get people to understand what the Bible is saying. they think the Bible is just a myth. and it is not good enough for today's. Educated people.Yes many people are educated today they can read and write and think.for themselves. But we have to realize. That our god is a spirit. and the one who created the heavens and the earth. so if he can do this .that suggested he is more educated. And more experience.than we are. So this god of ours. can take the most stupidest thing .and make it into a success And the people of the world is made foolish. In his sigh
Yes this god of mine as took nothing. And with his dynamic energy as caused the big bang.
And the Big Bang produced the heavens and the earth?
How long have the heavens and earth been in existing. Millions and thousands of years”???

Locust, we certainly  do not have to 'realise' all that stuff you're sermonising about.

PS Is there a problem with your keyboard? Your sentences are ... rather wayward in places.

Could the same not be said about Nietzsche or John Lennon?

locust. "That our god is a spirit. and the one who created the heavens and the earth. so if he can do this .that suggested he is more educated."

Where did God get his education from?
