Do you have a point to make Spath.
It's a step forward for those who have more difficulty being open than the rest.
I hope that they can march without any trouble from religious fanatics.
Hmmm, this is one time I would advocate the use of burkas.

Can you try and post a 'Question' rather than just posting a thinly veiled Insult ? This is 'AnswerBank' after all !
What type of Answers do you expect?
Have you heard of 'Punctuation'? Your 'Question' is barely litterate !! I have 'read' it 5 times now and I still can not see your 'Point' ! Assuming of course that there is one ?

Any ideas?
Lol @ Ma'am, drollery suits you.
Spath - I don't understand your Question - can you re-word it please?

Thanks.
Maybe it's, "Isn't it weird that some groups need to flaunt something about themselves in public in order to declare pride in it, when normal folk just get on and think the festival folk are acting strangely ?"
Old_Geezer - // Maybe it's, "Isn't it weird that some groups need to flaunt something about themselves in public in order to declare pride in it, when normal folk just get on and think the festival folk are acting strangely //

That may be the case, but we need to remember that all groups who create a 'Pride' event consider themselves oppressed minorities, which is why they are 'proud' to stand up visibly and remind the wider society in which they live, that they are still here.
well never see a black pride there religion is just if not more homophobic
wonder if they will side with the lgbt marches then...or would the lgbt
march against.
what black religion is that, derek?
Rastafari
Rastas also typically express hostile attitudes to homosexuality, regarding homosexuals as evil and unnatural

You did ask.
Derek, I think you are mixing up ethnicity and religious belief.
They could be proud quietly: although why someone is proud of being in a minority is anyone's guess. Decorum and all that.

Ok I'm talking Jamaicans specifically
