Hi Nailit. How is your halo?
Mine is polished and back on my head.
Fits perfectly.
Now, glowing with light, I am ready for the inevitable onslaught from the designer critics.
(Wonder how many pairs of shoes they have?)
I have two. One is slippers that I go out in.
But hey!
Remember, I am trying my best to project an image of poverty and sacrifice to blend in with the great unwashed, so I can pontificate on the immorality of poverty.

Hey Arksided what you want to know about the Trinity?
As for your fruits of the loon attempt at humour, if it was funny I would laugh, but it's more like getting a root canal!
Try again mate!
For Peter Pedant- there is no mention of the immaculate conception in the bible -
Luke 1 - 26-35
Matthew 1 - 18-25
benhilton, Mary is the immaculate conception - not Jesus.
I ought to expand on that^. Often wrongly applied to Jesus, the term Immaculate Conception actually refers to Mary, his mother. Although conceived by the usual method, Catholic doctrine teaches that Mary was conceived without sin and, by God’s grace, was preserved from original sin. Her conception was therefore “immaculate”.
Question Author
If I am not mistaken, the R.C. Church now consider Mary as, "Co Redemptrix," that is on a par with Jesus in our salvation.

"Speechless!"
Theland, you are mistaken. That is not accepted as mainstream doctrine.
ben is talking about the Virgin Birth
as an archbishop of canterbury said to me ( Fisher ) even the protestants believe in that one ....

co-redemptrix seems a bit overblown - am I allowed to say that ? The immaculate conception ( Mary that is ! ) 'solves' the issue of an unbaptised girl carrying the redeemer (theotokos ) [*] - the pope ( His Holiness ) declared it was dogma around 1879. helped by the children at Lourdes seeing visions of the Virgin who said - I am the immaculate conception.

we have had this a few times before .....

[*] at least one AB is gonna quip : the-what-oh-kos ?

Michael predates George in dragon slaying
and halos are fourteenth century arent they?

//ben is talking about the Virgin Birth //

We know. You're late on parade for that one.
Question Author
Elucidate? Co Redemptrix? An apology if I am wrong.
Where did I get this?
This will help.....

https://www.catholicnewsagency.com/news/could-mary-be-getting-a-new-title-this-year-44675

.... but note:

“The Co-Redemptrix title never places Mary on a level of equality with Jesus Christ...."

“The Co-Redemptrix title never places Mary on a level of equality with Jesus Christ
Question Author
What a crock!
We have on.y ONE bible, and nowhere in it does it elevate Mary to more than a, "good woman."
Where do the RCs get this carp from?
Disgraceful and misleading.
