I think i have answered it.
I think all the answers so far have shown none of us would take in any asylum seeker if they were totally unconnected- just as we wouldn't take in any random stranger.
I don't expect anyone to say anything different.
I think there's no mileage in this thread.

I'm happy to wait and see of course but if anyone is waiting for someone here to say they will take in any asylum seeker (other than perhaps if there is a family link) then it may be a long wait.

In 2015 Yvette Cooper (aka Mrs Balls) and Nicola Sturgeon both announced that they would be willing to accommodate a Syrian refugee. As far as I know neither has. If they can’t circumvent the bureaucracy with their connections I’m sure I’d be unable to.

AOG - I completely understand the concerns of too many immigrants coming into this country. But I also understand people wanting to help people fleeing war torn countries. Sympathy doesn't grow a spare bedroom or gives extra money though.
