Because we live in a God-dishonouring world in which teachers of false religion, as well as agnostics and atheists mock Christianity.

Goodlife, you are failing miserably!!
"And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come." (Matt 24:14)

So, until everybody in the world accepts "this gospel" then the end won't come.
Phew that's a relief then. Or have I got it wrong again?
It's so hard to tell with the bible unless you have someone to tell you what it means. Oh wait! we do don't we Goodlife?

A fool will believe anything; smart people watch their step.” (Proverbs 14:15
lol Goodlife, you hit the nail right on the head!! //A fool will believe anything//

;-)
Goodlife, please explain the connection between belief and walking, if there is one.

Methyl, I think all this nonsense he posts is about progressing within the JW's and impressing his elders.
I was recently told by a theology student ( so it must be true ) That a theology degree is the easiest to get because the answer to every question only has to include the word God to score 50% of the marks. Other key words are : bible, gospel , Jesus, disciples and resurrection. They can be in any order. It's the only exam where you can get more than 100% marks .
My dear friend goodlife. You have converted me to recognise my sins and take a more realistic look on life.

Your job is now done, thank you. No need for any posts from you about the Lord.
These are not the atheists you seek, move along.

Goodlife - “... A fool will believe anything...”

Correct. A fool is someone who believes in something regardless of how stupid, illogical or outlandish it may seem. Fools believe in things without a shred of evidence.

Ergo, Goodlife – you are a fool.
Please find me a religion that doesn't tell its adherents that non-believers are

a) lacking in some regard
b) going to attack them

and doesn't use the above as a 'proof' of it's own veracity.
oh come on it is Sunday
let us at least be polite if not nice to Goodlife

methyl - I am not sure if you can do a DD or BA in theology without learning at least one of the ancient languages in which the Bible was written. all this is sub a - level. My own RE teacher at primary school - Dr Joseph Rhymer - author of 'The bible in the order in which it was written' did Latin Greek and Hebrew. [and then had to earn his daily bread teaching the likes of us - ].

You cannot fool God, and it does no good to fool yourselves.
//oh come on it is Sunday // and what is so important about Sunday?

Oh yes, it a religious day of rest, why should I or any other Atheist acknowledge that?

I find Sundays a pain in the A$$ I cant do half the the things I want to do because half the the bloody shops are shut!!

Dont expect me to make exceptions!
Goodlife, //You cannot fool God, and it does no good to fool yourselves.//

I agree, you cannot fool someone that doesnt exist, and you need to learn who is the fool here!
What on earth are you wittering on about goodlife ?
Godlife, you wouldn't sound so sanctimonious if you didn't call yourself 'goodlife' and weren't so bleedin' preachy. Viewed from outside the religious mindset your posts deserve only ridicule, which as you may have noticed is what you get.
