By coincidence I was going to ask a question about Jehovas Witnesses but some of the latest correspondence answers them.

My daughter married one of them and I daren't ask him any questions or Im in for a sermon.

Don't they celebrate anything? She doesn't get cards or presents on either Birthdays or Christmas.
He drinks quite a bit.
He has no compassion and does not speak to two of his step children.
I thought it was only Plymouth Brethren who were like this.

They do wedding anniversarys, but that's about it.

I'm surprised at the drinking bit, I thought they frowned on that.
They are allowed to drink, but not to the point where they become intoxicated.

I have often thought in the past, if one of our kids came home with a religious fanatic, what our reaction would be. Luckily it never happened.
