Lies Lead to Loss of Life

Such a viewpoint is common in today’s world. Scandals involving lies told by prominent politicians and other world leaders have rocked society. Influenced by this climate, many people have relaxed their commitment to telling the truth. In some domains lying has even become official policy. “I’m paid to lie. This seems to be the core of retail sales training everywhere, Many believe that there is no real harm in so-called little white lies. Is this true?

Boasting is not in itself wrong. It all depends upon in what or whom you boast. Boasting about the wrong thing or person may not only be foolish but harmful and even wicked.

Ordinarily, a bearer of good news is received with a hearty welcome, and an ear eager to hear the news would be turned toward him. However, the Bible foretold that faithless people of the world would not view the good news of God’s Kingdom and its message of salvation as delightsome.(2 Corinthians 2:15, 16)

Goodness, have you finally got it? Your news is not good news to non-believers. We don't want to spend eternity with you. Really we don't. We're quite happy to accept that at the end of our earthly life we're going to be dead - permanently.

Yes,Imagine what a relief! No longer will you have to struggle to do what is right. Doing the right thing then will be just natural. Gone will be the constant worry about controlling your tongue or temper. You will never feel guilty because of losing your self-control.
The urges to steal, lie, cheat, commit immorality, will be permanently replaced by perfect honesty, loyalty, kindness and love. How wonderful to be able to do exactly the good that wells up in your own heart!

I don't have those urges - I don't have a constant worry about controlling my tongue or temper - and I never lose my self-control.
