So the second coming of Jesus is due on the 21st May and he'll take all believers to heaven and leave the rest behind.

A) is he open to bribes do you reckon?

B) On a genuine note, we have plenty of believers who post,
i)do you believe that the rapture is nigh?
ii)Do you understand how these people come about nominating these dates?
iii) If you believe that something like this will happen in your lifetime, would you make preparations?

I read in the Metro that a guy in the USA spent $86k of his life savings on advertising it!

Planet Earth would be nice if he takes all the religious nutters elsewhere!

This would only take the Christians though, and apparently leave us (non-believers) in a 5 month apocolypse I'm guessing along with anyone else who's dip-dip-dipped the wrong religion!
I haven't read anything about this in the Daily Mail so I'm not inclined to believe it.
Oh well at least Blackpool won't be relegated Sunday.
Didn't the same guy make the same prediction for 2007 or some such?
I'll be right. I have my own private God who has always looked out for me..No way I want the really busy schizophrenic one.

Mine has no distractions making universes, all those animals, floods etc and pandering to the whims of billions of prayers.

Not prepared to timeshare my God so they can remain totally focused on my welfare.

dave, that reminds me of Carlos Roa - the Argentinian keeper who retired due to an impending rapture a few years ago! Wasn't David Icke a keeper too? Guess it's true what they say!
A: What do you give to a guy that has everything? Its like trying to pick a wedding present for people that have lived together for years.

B: I'm a believer (now I have that song in my head).
i: No idea. I have other plans for today.
ii: I'm guessing tomorrow is your birthday. I have a 1:365 chance of being right.
iii. If the end of the world is nigh I'll put off mowing the grass until Monday. I don't mind waiting on the off chance that they are right.

The book of Mathew leads me to believe it will come on a day we won't expect it.
If Jesus really loved me then he would come back on a Monday morning so I could have a last weekend and he would certainly not deprive me of the spectacle that is Sky Sports News on the last day. Bah, I hate Jesus and Jesus hates me.
