Morning Alba, another bloody early start - didn't get reports finished yesterday. Warmer in N Wales this morning but had rain overnight. Kettle's on - fancy a cuppa?

A cuppa would be lovely thanks, I've not looked out the window yet but I'm not liking the weather forecast.

Could I have milk and 2 sugars please?

Ahh - NATO standard eh - more of a black and one sugar man myself - coming right up. I'm having a banana with mine (no time for brekkie today)

If I have mine black. I prefer no sugar but it does have to be a good coffee.

That sounds daft, but I'm sure you know what I mean, something with oomf in it,

It's soggy, I've just looked.

How is Sylvia doing ?

OOh and bananas, I like 'em, especially in a butty which has had to be spread with butter. :D

She had her scan cancelled on monday and when the docs came round yesterday they decided that because she was so yellow they are going to do a Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatograph (!!) - or to put it plainly shove a camera down her throat - to see if she has any blockages, ie gallstones, and remove them so she gets her natural colour back. But that won't happen until friday - 3 weeks to the day she was admitted. I know our hospital is slow but you would have thought they would have done this a lot earlier as they knew she had gallstones in the first week! Very frustrating for both of us.

Bloominig 'eck Welsh. the poor lady! I bet if feels longer than 3 weeks for both of you. She must be feeling down and extremely bored. How's her apetite doing? Did she eat any of that tart?

Never tried bananas on toast but now you've mentioned that, I'll give it a bash :D

She hasn't much of an appetite at the moment but she did manage nearly all the tart leaving just a small bit of pastry. She did say that it was lovely. Mindst you, after seeing what they dish us in hospital, i'm not surprised she enjoyed it. She is really bored and just wants to come home but as I can't take time off work at the moment, I think it best she stays where she is. She does have the patientline telly (bloody rip off) by her bed so at least she can watch some of that. She can always ring me at work - calls to 01,02, and 03 numbers are free - but as she is so weak it is difficult to tell what she is saying sometimes.

Oh Welsh,, I so hope after Friday's endoscope thingy that things will finally start to get on the right road for her. I can only imagine what you two are going through and imagination is not real life. Keep your chin up xx
