But that won't happen until friday - 3 weeks to the day she was admitted. I know our hospital is slow but you would have thought they would have done this a lot earlier as they knew she had gallstones in the first week! Very frustrating for both of us.
Bloominig 'eck Welsh. the poor lady! I bet if feels longer than 3 weeks for both of you. She must be feeling down and extremely bored. How's her apetite doing? Did she eat any of that tart?
Never tried bananas on toast but now you've mentioned that, I'll give it a bash :D
Many hugs to Mrs Welsh and xx

She hasn't much of an appetite at the moment but she did manage nearly all the tart leaving just a small bit of pastry. She did say that it was lovely. Mindst you, after seeing what they dish us in hospital, i'm not surprised she enjoyed it. She is really bored and just wants to come home but as I can't take time off work at the moment, I think it best she stays where she is. She does have the patientline telly (bloody rip off) by her bed so at least she can watch some of that. She can always ring me at work - calls to 01,02, and 03 numbers are free - but as she is so weak it is difficult to tell what she is saying sometimes.
