Hi, I have two hostas in pots which are sprouting nicely, unfortunately so are the welsh poppies!! There are four or five in each plant, forcing their way thro' the leaves. Will it be o.k. to take everything out of the pots and try to separate them? Will it spoil the hostas? I do like the welsh poppies but they are all over my garden also and enough is enough!!! TIA rosy

you should be okay if you do it gently.
I have that problem too..as woofgang says it should be ok. W. poppies have a long tap root though & you have to make sure it all comes out. Good luck! :o)
