.....really is an animal.

Doesn't she realise that she is just a clothes horse?

What right does this really despicable woman feel she has to hold a whole plane load of people up for 2 hours just because one of her bags went walkies?

Horrible horrible woman.

glad to see someone standing up for themselves in the face of BA incompetence
Bit of a difference between standing up for themselves and assault.

She allegedly spat at a policeman and started beating him with her fists (in front of many eye witnesses)

Just a few months after she was convicted of throwing a mobile phone at a maid.
It is also not BA incompetence but BAA incompetence - two different companies - one of which has accepted full responsibility.
Agree- she's a vile woman with major prima donna tendancies, however i resent her being called an "animal", most animals wouldn't behave this way- well not being smacked out their brains (ok, my assumption of her i admit) might have something to do with it.

Tell you summet, if i'd spat at a policeman and lamped him one I'd still be sat in a prison cell somewhere!
She's a bit too old for all this spoilt brat nonsense, isn't she? The trouble is, when she's surrounded by fawning lackies telling her how marvellous and wonderful and beautiful she is (which she's not - like most "supermodels", she's nothing special), she very quickly starts to believe it.
Yeah agree LOM (hello stranger by the way!), also she's been told all that rubbish since she was what, around 16 or so? Hardly surpising she believes it and has now forgotten what real life is like.
The blame lies with the Cult of Celebrity which seems to have gripped a large part of the English public. If you didn't worship them they wouldn't dare act this way.
I don't think it's anything to do with being a celebrity. Some people are just thugs who resort to violence at the drop of a hat. She seems to be one of those.
Dread to think WHAT would happen if she dropped a hat ludwig. World War 3..?
Well if it was some lackey that dropped one of Naomi's hats all hell would break loose.
I guess this is what happens when you begin to believe your own hype.
brionon is 100% correct. She's the way she is because she's been elevated onto that pedestal by the thousands who seem to worship her.
Vic, it seems to be generally accepted that BA is responsible and has admitted it. Actually, BAA (the airport operator) must take some of the blame - I think they were responsible for installing the baggage system electronics - but it seems to have been mostly the airline's bad management, poor planning and poor training that were responsible.
jno - I think that BA were initially to blame, but this story relates to things that happened afterwards: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7331954.stm

Hopes of Heathrow's Terminal 5 operating its first full schedule of flights have been scuppered by a new glitch with the baggage system.

Airport operator BAA's computer system which sorts bags before they are loaded onto flights malfunctioned and manual sorting had to be carried out.

British Airways cancelled 24 flights to and from Terminal 5 on Saturday due to the latest baggage problems.

The terminal suffered baggage problems within hours of opening nine days ago.

A spokeswoman described the situation on Saturday as "incredibly disappointing" but said the airline was working with BAA to resolve the situation as quickly as possible.

BAA said the problem was entirely its responsibility.
It may well have been BA or BAA's fault, but that still doesn't give the spoilt little madam the excuse to (allegedly) spit at a policeman and behave as if the world revolves round her.
Vic, BA's boss had earlier accepted responsibility for the Day 1 mess

While it's nice to see everyone taking the blame in public, this doesn't mean they aren't frantically briefing against each other behind the scenes, of course.

But either way, the fragrant Naomi Campbell isn't responsible for lost baggage.
