just to pay the bills, still waiting to win the lottery
I love what I do. It isn't a job. It's my life.

Fr Bill
sometimes it is a bit of both to be honest, but I am good at my job and it is always changing, it is physically demanding and mentally challenging but it does pay well.
I do enjoy my job and look forward to it, but make no mistake, if I won the lottery, I would leave it all to my business partner.
Hard to weigh up. I have three job titles (all for the price of one), there are aspects of my job I absolutely and utterly deteste... seriously, that's not too strong a word!

However, I know that without me doing what I do, some people wouldn't get the service they need and deserve. Also the support I provide some people I know makes a real difference.

That said... I still resent having to get up and work for the next 40 odd years rather than spending my days frolocking (sp) in fields.
Believe it or not,I'm retired and I STILL hate Mondays and sigh with relief on Fridays !
I don't think I'd last long at my job if I didn't need to work. The temptation to point out the stupidities in a loud voice would soon get too great!

And I think a few months under a palm tree would have me climbing the walls.

I'd probably go back and do some more further education, don't know what I'd do after that though.

Hmm - maybe I ought to stop buying lottery tickets
Yes I love my job. If financially I didn't have to work, I would volunteer to do my job, but only do it on 4 days a week with a bit more holiday time.

I am living with someone who is redundant, the impact is they are depressed. I earn enough, so its not the money but they are somewhat lost without the focus and purpose of their previous employment.
Just a job, I would really love to do a job that I enjoy but still don't know what that is gonna be
I absolutley hate my job, but as i work shifts i find i hard to have the time to look for another job so i stick at it. it just to pay the bills
I work a very long day, run a home, bring up a family - but love every aspect of it. The pleasure of working is that I can help those who're less fortunate than myself. I don't see much of the money in terms of hard cash, but the richness is in seeing other people happy.
While I too would love to win the Lottery, I do love my job. (Most days.) Teaching is not a financially rewarding field, but has many other rewards.
