Ive realised more than ever today, That * I am* slightly deaf...
Hearing people speak to me without a mask on and I cant hear them properly.
Its a worry.

no - they dont work
so no regrets there

lip reading - the standard is to retreat to 2 m and take the mask down.

I havent been able to make what people are saying wivvart lip cues since I was 16 - and I am sixty now!
