And am a lifelong conservative voter.
However, I’m in a complete quandary as to how to vote in next months general election.
I’m not very keen on Boris, my blood runs cold at the thought of Jezza in charge of the country, and what’s all this ‘tactical voting’ about?
I’d really like someone who has voted remain, and is a conservative voter, to tell me who they’re going to vote for, and why.
This is a serious question, I’d prefer it not to get into an argument. Thanks.

Shows someone is reading your posts, bhg. ;-)
Not many people on here read anyone else's.
As to the OP, Brexit is the only consideration in this election. It overshadows everything else.
For instance, Labour have been talking a lot about nationalising/subsidising various industries. Not while we remain in the EU, they won't.
In fact no party can make any major decisions about anything unless they comply with EU regulations.
Danny - I've only just seen your post; I think you might be right - I posted on another thread that I think anybody voting Brexit Party when there is a Tory candidate could, effectively, be voting "Remain".
‘ In fact no party can make any major decisions about anything unless they comply with EU regulations‘

How does the EU do that, spicey?

It’s really interesting to read all your views, thank you.
And I’m no more embarrassed about voting conservative or remain than I’m sure those of you who have suggested I should be are, of voting labour or any other party, or Brexit.
"I’d really like someone who has voted remain, and is a conservative voter"

I`d say that might be a wasted vote as many MPs who voted against their constituents / party may be rewarded with a ticket to the dole queue.
I'm not sure either tbh. I want Brexit achieved asap, before it does any more damage than it already has.
Not sure whether it should be the Tories or the Brexit party though.
I have a feeling that Boris has enough arrogance, personal ambition and ego (and I like him lol) to ensure he succeeds in his aims. And at the moment, that is the one thing we need to get done.
Pixie, you can't really believe that the Brexit Party can gain a majority?
Not much point in the EU making rules if no-one complies with them, if you think about it, or anything, Zacs baby.
Where has pixie mentioned the Brexit party?
So which specific rules would the EU use to prevent the Labour Party nationalising anything?
ZM. post at 15.52
I don't, Danny. On the AB poll I put Conservative .I am just not 100% sure that is the best choice- I am not very political x
Oh, yes. Apologies.
Thanks zacs x I am keeping up with posts, to see who wants what :-). At the moment, i think naomi has the most similar views to me on this... so I am hoping to find out :-) xx
You're AB's EU representative. You really should know about these things.
It’s yourself who’s claiming to know, spicey. Go on, put some detail on your claim that political parties can’t do anything without the EU’s say-so.
Good for you pixie but beware, there are people who will tell you lies and bullcarp just to appear to be knowledgable.
