Hi Tony, I use a variable speed controller with some of them.
It's the controller that passed away, tools work just cant slow them down enough for certain jobs.
An electronic device I can plug angle grinders into, turn the dial and select the rpm I wish them to spin at. Not required for cutting/grinding metal but with wood carving/sanding attachments very important.
Probably buy another for a few hundred dollars but being in a small remote town could be a few weeks before I get it.
Warmish here today, storm brewing, should get to us by Wednesday.
My router is from last century, no built in speed control hence the gizmo is useful.
I can select 16 different speeds on my drill press by moving belts from pulley to pulley, quicker and more speed choices using the electronic gizmo. Most other bits of kit I own, but not all, have built in speed control.
4 projects have come to a halt Emmie, 3 carved burl bowls + 1 table.
Was hoping to get 2 into the shop this week and 2 next week.In 2 weeks time I might be moving large amounts of dirt and cutting stone 40 hours per week.
Wont leave me much time to finish these projects.
