why else would the west open the flood gates to these so called immigrants when our country is broken on its knees and in debt how can we believe that we can take care of our own childrens futures without these scroungers coming to inflict more damage to our welfare system and our very culture ,religion and way of life.

since 9/11 , sadam and gadaffi , the arab spring and now assad and the forming of isis by john mcain the USA/CIA.

i believe the world is changing fast and we are heading for destruction very soon.

i fear for my childrens future. i dont know what the world will be like in even the next 10 years time.

does any one feel the same .

You Nutter!!!!

Just being obliging,,,,
It's as though we are heading heedlessly into a hurricane. We lack the will and leadership to alter course. Most can see the inevitable consequence of such apathetic, hand wringing, well intended benevolence. It is a mess that has to be resolved firmly. Or is this part of the EUs agenda?
I agree with you DD. We're doomed Captain Mainwairing, doomed I tell you.
I am with you entirely, the politicians in this country are like sheep where one goes they all follow.

1ozzy, funny eh ? do you have children ? do you even care ?
Throughout history there have always been some thinking the end is nigh or some catastrophe is imminent. Few prove to be right. Vast vast majority find their fears of a worse case scenario was unfounded.

I think the real problem concerns access to nuclear weapons-the WMD debate.
A hundred years ago we accepted 250,000 refugees. It was the right thing to do. We were a civilised people and we showed compassion and empathy with a people who were desperate and needed our help. That is what made the British admired throughout the world.

Unfortunately, in the intervening century the British have become mean spirited and selfish. We are a wealthy country and can afford to help, but instead we close our eyes to their plight. The too little too late help we are giving to a small number of refugees is only because we have been shamed into it by other nations doing more.

I too worry about the future of this country. Its people have become, dare I say it, very unBritish.
I don't think the world will end simply because we accept refugees. Even the countries they came from are not in an "apocalyptic" state...
The letter by Albert Pike that your link is based on never existed. It says so in the article .
Read your 'information' before you post it!
Unfortunately, in the intervening century the British have increased in population by 20million.
Irrespective of what you want, gromit, the vast majority of people in this country have had enough.
The letter is such an obvious fake. It uses the word "Nazism" which was first used in 1930, yet the letter is supposed to be written in 1871.

I second 1ozzy You are a nutter

you asked to be called one so we are being obliging :)
Made me laugh. Call me a nutter but...

Then gets narky when someone calls him a nutter :-)
I agree ummmmm but it did cheer me up on a grey monday morning.
Here in the U.S. we haer the same mantra, usually from the left, that we have always taken refugees... in fact we pride ourselves on being a nation of refugees. But... in the past, at least here, and I interpret from the news in Europe as well, the refugees in the past represented a mixed bunch... Italians, Irish, Middle Europeans as well as Africans and Asians. Now, the vast majority of immigrants, legal and illegal, are Muslim.

Not supposed to point that out, accirding to the left... but facts are nasty things... thy just kinda hang out there like Grandmother's recently passed gas... everyone knows it but it's not polite to point it out.

It's often been stated by the Muslim leaders that they really have no need of war with the 'west' since, given enough time they simply breed their way into the majority.

That's a difficult concept to actually do anything about, especially in today's era of political correctness.
Very good post that, Clanad.

From the link

///To date, no conclusive proof exists to show that this letter was ever
written. ///
Perhaps the 250,000 refugees were the ones that created the era of mean spirits and selfishness.
