Mrs Jom and I saw the film 'YSL' with French friends who are pretty worldly a couple of days ago. They were shocked by the depiction of homosexual behaviour and culture. I thought it was fairly mild, or have I been corrupted by modern morals any thoughts?

Only you can truly know the extent of your corruption. Who are we to judge? Examine your conscience.

:-)
I haven't seen the film. But it could easily be their prejudices affecting their view. It doesn't mean you're wrong.

Considering those froggies dont give a curse about Francois HOllande and eez zegond and third wives, I think there is something wrong with your French frenz quite honestly

When I used the expression 'worldly' I meant that they had lived in Paris and 'put it about' a lot.

Thankyou for your helpful advice Sandy. I was referring to my moral values rather than my morals being corrupted.
Ecc - oo heck - love
Yves St Laurent was French himself so why were the French complaining about him (complaining about a film about him...)

Well pet, the French are a lot more proper than you might think so the hanky panky between blokes was a bit more than they were prepared for.
Didn't they invent the word, 'Bourgeois'?
Question Author
Sandy, I think they just naturally speak French..no need to invent it :o)
