Ì have an idea to buy some land in France with other people and start making something like Auroville in India. I have had a recent good idea on how to generate money for land taxes and externally bought food. People who want to live there would have to pay an initial lump sum of 30k. For that they will own a very small living quarters and have to take up a job within the community. Selection of people who live there will be very strict initially as will need the correct people to set the foundans. How popular would you say this would be?

You can pay me a deposit now if you want tony. I take credit card. Communism has a leader though. This will not. Just free willed people.
No leader honeydip, who will run it then.
Honeydip, only days ago you were asking 'who owns mountains?', so personally I would be rather wary of any scheme you set up that asked me for £30,000 up front. You appear to be somewhat naive to me. Either that, or you're winding people up.
go with wind up..

Sorry I am not winding people up I am just exploring my thoughts with the help of the people on this site which is rather helpful to be honest.
You really do come across as very naive!
Why France?
Will the lady in your avatar be a typical resident honeydip?

I have to say I'm warming to the idea
Question Author
Yes she will actually.
All residents have to take up a job - child labour then !

And work 'til you drop dead. No, not for me I'm afraid.
You'll be hard pressed to find any doctor willing to live without pay, you'll need a dentist too. Seems a bit 6th form common room dabbling in Communism to me.
Can disabled people join, or do they not fit in your criteria of 'correct people'?
Question Author
Disabled or not doesnt make any difference.

I'd give up if I were you, honeydip. Changing the avatar doesn't really help.
