That's missing the point NM - regardless of whether someone shows remorse if you spend too much time being angry and brooding over your pain and hurt then you hurt yourself on top of the hurt done to you in the first place.

i agree with daffy, there are some things that can't be forgiven (and shouldn't be) If society as whole just forgave murderers for example, we'd be in pretty big trouble

Forgiving and harbouring bitterness are different. In my life there is someone I will never forgive but I don't dwell on it and it doesn't make me unhappy.
