So after four days of frantic flag waving from many walks of life are the Left still hell bent on associating the Union Jack as being Racist? Will the kn*b head Councils filled with anti British people still try to ban people from flying it or have we sent the message we are British, and Proud of it?

Which councils have banned it?

Anyone can fly the Union Flag on their own property provided it does not cause a nuisance to nieghbours.
I don't think "allowed" has anything to do with it, unless you are hoping to deny another's right to speak out.

Wish I could afford the boat to fly it from.
well I gues it must have gone some way to wrench it from the BNP but, there are still huge swathes of the anti British in our town halls so I'd imagine their war will continue!
The house at the end of my road has been flying the union jack and Georges cross for at least the last 20 years.
We flew one for special occasions as we had our own flagpole....
you can only fly it on a ship anyway. Do you have a list of councils that have banned it?
It's nonsense...
Union FLAG please, unless you're a Nauticle type.
;o)
^^^^ NAUTICAL ^^^^............doh, having a bad day:o(
Everyone who was waving it was waving it for a purpose and had a smile on their faces which were black and white and inbetween, the ones you have a gripe with are those who are usually white, skinheaded, violent, uneducated racists who's purpose is to "Reclaim their flag and britain" Scare, terrorise and harm others.
Two totally different reasons and the flag should be banned from the latter reason as this guy demonstrates
Should this guy be allowed to wave a flag in opposition of other nations, in fact should this guy be allowed anything sharp?

It's a free country. Meenah.
What an odd post, meenah....
ummmm, I wonder if Meenah has a sister called Jamboo ?
What's odd about giving my opinion? Surely we have right to post what we actually think and not what others want to hear?

Why would you want to know what my sisters are called and why ask a member who doesn't know me?
Looked like an open question to me Meenah, methinks you doth protest too much!
Nobody has ever seen the Union FLAG as racist, however the cross of St George is another matter.
Where ever did you get the idea it's a free country tony? :-)
St Georges cross has/was tainted by football hooligans.
Dunno really Star, I think I heard A teacher say it one day many years ago, although it was a dream ?
I have it on good authority that the guy in Meenahs link is an EDL recruiter
