TTo sell stuff? There are a couple of people who keep sending me pictures of things they sell. Surely it can't be allowed.i. mean new stuff, not second hand stuff.

There are groups set up to sell things - yes you can do it

How do they send you pics?
Are they appearing on your wall or to they come via your in box?

i think its my wall. i'm not very clued up on facebook! I accepted them as friends but they are doing sneaky sidelines in selling stuff they make. I'm not interested in them but they 'tag' me so it appears on my page.
I'll stop the friend thing i think. Although last time i did that, i got a few sulks from the girls at work!

There is a setting which you can set so that you have to give permission to be tagged in photos. That way ever time you get tagged in one you can just decline it and it won't appear on your wall. Handy if you don't want to defriend the person.

privacy settings > how tags work > set up how you want

crisgal, its a good idea to have your friends request settings to friends of friends as well
Then only friends of anyone on your friends list can send a request
You can set it higher if you wish to
I only have friends on my list who are actual friends - if they send a request and dont tell me why or I dont know them, I dont accept
