woe is me

I put the washing on approx 7am, then came upstairs answer my e mails, computer in spare bedroom and gone down 5 mins ago to hang said washing out and the kitchen is flooded, have put down old towels to soak up the water and now have to face the mopping up process.
I expect its gong to be "one of those days". Good Morning to one and all. Anyone else had a bad start to the day ?

oh no, is it one of those "should've stayed in bed" days? I have lots of those!

My day so far (touch wood) is going ok, trying to stay awake and more importantly make sure Mini Boo stays awake (she's slumped on sofa with her duvet wrapped round her). Then Im off to Tesco for BBQ bits for Friday- now that's optimism!

Bleugh.... that's no good... I'm trying to work out if seventeen degrees is short sleeves and cardy weather or a short sleeved with a long sleeved top and cardy weather... You know how a day can turn if you're too hot or cold...

as I am one of the witches I better get cracking and clear up the mess ! just cant face it at the moment think I will have another cuppa first.
yes it is one of those days just stopped the bath from overflowing, i got on here and forgot about it ! what other disaster can happen to me ? will be glad when today is over.

Man hostage isn't here til thursday Boobies so I'm also seeing no point in that de-hairing lark.... I'm going to go with the two tops, then at least I can take one if I'm hot but not sit shivering if I'm freezing... thus here ends the tale of my morning decisions!

That happened to me a few years ago, but now I have a new washing machine which is out in the utility room. At least if that floods it won't be in the kitchen!

Its quite nippy here and I'm supposed to be going to a park with some friends later so I really hope it warms up.

well there was quite a bit of water so I ended up finding the scrubbing brush and scrubbing the kitchen floor, its not a large area,but had to pull out w/machine & dishwasher to look for leaks, emptied the filter of w/ machine and found a dirty big label with washing instructions stuck in the filter,so thats probably what caused the flood [ says she hopefully!] I am know knackered and my poor old knees will suffer, so you can call me an Essex scrubber from now on !

This is one of the joys of having a separate laundry room in the garden if the machine leaks it goes out of the door in onto concrete,, except that when it rains I get wet anyway!
