at school we studied about papua new guinea and a specific tribe

we had a silly way of saying this i think it was yasmaks or similar

can anyone refresh my fading memory

There is a tribe that lives in the western coastal swamps of New Guinea called the Asmat, they are known for their woodcarvings and indigineous art.
