I love my boyfriend truly. We have been together for 2 1/2 years and I remember the first time we kissed was amazing. But for a while now I have not really enjoyed it when we kiss, and the sex hasn't been as good (although I have recently just had an operation for endometriosis so I am hoping that has something to do with it) I am really worried about the kissing thing, why do I not enjoy it anymore?

Maybe you associate kissing with intimacy, if you have just had an operation (hope u r ok by thw way), and the sex isn't as good, u could subconciously associate kissing as being the first step towards sex. As your sexual relationship improves again, u may start to enjoy kissing your boyfriend again. Hope this helps.
i think yoo will find the answer is a BIG op. for endimitriosis could be the problem, I know how I'd fell about life in general pooh let alone the thought of sex etc.. hope u sort the remote 4 sure now, and as u get better I bet your relationship will 2.

Thank you both I hope you are right! Cheers for you help with my remote TRINITY, I will have a go and let you know how it goes xx

I know how you feel i recently had a laporoscopy for endometriosis and have not felt like being intimate with my partner at the moment,

for the kissing thing i was the same in the beginning we could not get enough of each other but as the years have gone on it seemed to dwindle ,i think you have to make time for each other and put a spark back into the relationship as you can get into a rut and everything feels like a routine

You are best to get over your operation first then see how you feel if its not the same after  could it be possible that you don't feel the same way about you r boy'f .  lol, hope you get well soon x

Thanks mully. How long did it take before you were fully recovered? I had a laparoscopy and they found endometriosis on my bladder which they had to laser off (leaving me with another two incisions and a very sore tummy!!) The consultant said it would take about 3 months before my body was back to normal, is this right? And also I believe it can reoccur which I am terrified of! Is there a high chance of that happening?

I had my op in september and had to stay in bed for nearly two weeks as i was in a lot of pain i started to feel better a few weeks ago ,my scars are just healing now.

I was told that it can recurr and lots of people have said the only way to stop it is by getting pregnant ?

which i really don't want to do just yet  so i'll just have to see how it goes hopefully it might just stay away!

take it easy casey . x

I had my op in September aswell! Sep 16 I think it was.. I really hope it doesn't recurr, and I really don't understand the pregnancy thing either! I was told that but I have also read that it is not true so who knows! Like you though I am not ready for any babies just yet. I have been told to take the pill for 3 months continuously so I only have 4 periods a year, to try help control it.

Pregnancy did cure my endometriosis, although endometriosis can prevent you from getting pregnant in the first place!  We wanted a baby, so I was given Clomid to boost my chances of pregnancy and it worked.  Endometriosis is caused by cells from the womb lining escaping elswhere.  This causes monthly bleeding from these areas and associated pain.  When you get pregnant and periods cease for nine months this gives the endometriosis a chance to heal.
