Does anyone know what city was the first to inhabit 1 million people

Rome, possibly. Click here for a source.
London is the usual answer to this question in quizzes etc.
I've heard Baghdad (B.C.), as well, long before Rome.
Actually, I looked it up and Baghdad was the world's largest city from 775-935 A.D., so it probably was Rome. (133 B.C.) Babylon was the first to reach 200,000 in 65 or 66 B.C.
Of, course, if Rome reached that distinction in 133 B.C., that makes the Babylon "fact" false, but I'd go with Rome. I'll stop posting now.:)
