...although the answer has already been given, I couldn't resist stating that I am GLAD I have the right to bear arms. ....doesn't mean I have any, doesn't mean I'll ever own any, but if I want to (or feel the need to), I can always do so legally......

He recently made a public announcement on American Tv, saying that he has symptoms of Alzheimer's Disease and basically thanking his fans etc. before the disease takes him over.

.....and kicking! An unkind remark by George Cloony relating to Mr Heston's condition was met by a spirited response from the veteran actor. Refering to Clooney's Aunt Rosemary, Heston commented that "It just goes to show that class can skip a generation".
