Get some backbone and consider how she feels, she's suffering too, more than u probably.

Whilst I understand how difficult it can be, you really do need to be as supportive as possible. It's no good saying you're sick of it because I daresay she is far more sick of it. No-one likes to feel like a volatile emotional wreck ( I know, I suffered from terrible depression and anger problems for years.. I'm male by the way) and your wife is going to be all too aware of how difficult she is being and she's going to be terribly upset too. Have you been to see the Dr about this? If not obviously do so, also relaxation techniques may help in a limited sense, but since it's hormone based it may well be something you are stuck with.Just try and be nice to her, as being equally snarkey will only exaccerabate the problem.
Fight fire with fire. Be continually moody and miserable and make her life a misery all the time.
Works for me!
You hardly notice her PMT cos its always kicking off in our house 24/7.
At least i'm consistent.
does she want to do anything about it? Is it a problem to her also? If not, then there is not much you can do except bail. If she does, maybe she should see a doctor/
gary that answer is frightening! lol
I know this may be a bit saucy but my missus got a rabbit for her PMT.
a rabbit?? how does that help PMT?
She goes outside to feed it everytime she feels a bit grumpy maybe!

instead of calling you "a useless [edited by ab] my mother was right, i should never of married you, you look like your father and i hate that [edited by ab] aswell!!" she call's it the rabbit instead?

glad i got that off my chest!!

my sister doesnt get grumpy she just acts even more dim :) women mate they are weird just put up with it

Evening primrose oil capsules

my poor partner has to live with me and my 2 daughters who get bad pmt, poor chap, but us girls don't enjoy it much either.

shanks - sorry you got dot.hawkes answer first - not very constructive again dot ... why don't you just cool it with the negativity towards everyone you don't think measure up to your moral measure. If shanks has been married to his wife for 25 and is now seeking some advice on coping with this health problem - which for a couple IS a problem for BOTH / ALL the members of the household when it get serious...

I have been told by family that in addition to evening primrose, as recommended above, vitamin B complex can be very good as well as camomile tea...

best of luck to you both

pmt is a thing that women cant control. I suffer from it, and know when I am being like Sh*t to others. Its like a jekyl and hyde in you. And know it must be difficult for somone to put up with too. But believe me, us women cant help it. Vitamin B helps. Primrose oil. Sometimes a mild antidepressant can help too.

My mum never suffered from it, and she can never understand how bad you can feel.

Ask your wife to see the doctor. It will help both of you.

Good luck

buy a shed, and make home brew. Have you also noticed how women moan endlessly about PMT. dot -Try shaving your face every day! and putting up with screaming kids when the footballs on telly. You lot get it easy!!
I used to be really bad but it all disappeared when I went on the pill!
All through my childhood I thought my mother was crazy, fine most of the time then for a few days she would shout, swear, hit me, make my dads life a misery. I now know it was severe pmt because after the menopause she is such a lovely person!! it is not something you have to put up with, it tore my family apart and I left home at a young age because of it and I am still mentally affected by the whole experience.
