morning all, i hope you are well as can be, and that your day is a good one.
I am going to lunch at a friends house this afternoon, alongside others from their local church, even though i am not religious in any way. So something to look forward to.
have you anything planned for today?

Morning Emmie. Hope you’re ok? Woke up to take some painkillers - taking way way longer to recover than I thought. But apart from that - nothing dramatic has happened. Amusing myself watching all the fuel madness every day - I really don’t understand why people have lost the plot over this??

morning smow, have you had an accident? or is this something that's on going.
people seem to have lost all reason, there is no fuel shortages as been pointed out endless times. just a shortage of haulage drivers, mad...

i have to seek medical intervention now for my knees, and leg pain, i really need a scan to see what is going on, especially the left leg which is causing me lots of problems and endless pain.
how are you though?

I’ve just spent 24 days in hospital with pancreatitis - one min I was pottering round house; the next I was collapsed in a ball sobbing with the worst pain I have ever had in my entire life. I literally wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy.
And yes Emmie - get your scans sorted ASAP - you need to see what’s going on x

sorry to hear about the pancreatitis, i know how serious it is as i ended up with it and had to be admitted to hospital, with a 10 day stay as they had to take out the gall bladder which was causing the problem.

Ohhh bless you Thankyou. Seriously if someone said that night chop your leg off and the pain will stop I would have. No surgery as yet - but they said it was acute/serious. Gall bladder seems fine. They have sent me home with a plan/meds from pain relief team and I’m meant to call an ambulance if I get another attack that serious at home in the meantime. But really not feeling great this weekend so hoping to try and at least get someone to see me later on - am struggling to even stand up straight as it moves my abdomen too much.
And no I didn’t know you’d had it Emmie x

yes i did smow, and it was worse than any pain i ever had, so i can totally sympathise with you, hope you don't get like me, and have the gall bladder removed as it took me 3 months to get better.

if you feel bad smow, then call an ambulance, it doesn't do any good waiting, the doctor who came out of hours to see me, called one immediately and i was whisked off quickly to the hospital.

I promised mr smow that if I had an attack like I did on Tuesday night then I will. - I can’t go thru another one of those, but this is a deeper, duller pain. Will see how today goes.
Anyway enough of me, who else is awake?? Cant believe it’s still dark!

its now autumn and the nights are dark at 7 or so, and so the mornings don't get light till late too, shame as i really miss the morning lightness.

are you able to do much smow?

I can walk around ok, but mr smow has gone into full doctor/ babysitter mode ever since clinical team told him how inflamed it was and how ill I was. So have been told to eat little bits at a time and rest - sofa seems to be my ordered place to sit! So am doing lots of reading, stuff on iPad, trying to do online food shopping etc. Mr smow is working away half the week at the mo so he has even arranged his mum to babysit me when he’s away!! Yes mad I know, but as he said, when youve seen someone collapse with an attack that bad it’s frightening and he isn’t taking any risks - I didn’t really have an argument for that.
Positives to week? Well grownsmow came round on my birthday with my beautiful presents, so did my friend who lives about 10 mins walk away. And of course mr smow and his parents lol. Had some fab presents x and some unusual ones!

Very hard for someone who never sits still lol! And I have a birthday fire pit to assemble! And a bird house! Lol
