There is currently no one else in my house which is a rarity at the moment. That makes me cheerful.

Meeting good friend for lunch today and partaking of the Government scheme, so cheap meal for us !

Hiya Baza, I think of her quite often on here she was a dear friend.

1. My hallway light turned up yesterday. Weighing in at 13kg, I think we'll need to put extra supports in to hold the weight. It's a beautiful thing!

2. Conan the Destroyer has just gone down for his nap. That's a minimum of two hours all to myself to get what I want done.

3. The building at the front of the house is almost done, just the carpentry and roofing is needed now and then we'll be ordering the new front door and glass panels.

4. I'm healthy and my mobility is improving every day.

5. I randomly booked a little trip to Copenhagen for our anniversary next year.

OH has got Wagyu burgers. I'm just having a prawn salad. I can't eat anything cooked in this weather.

Stripped the bed after an uncomfortable nights sleep and it's on the line.
Other than that I find I've got loads to be happy about

For the last couple of weeks, my garden has been overrun every evening by hedgehogs - loads and loads of them. Some of them are huge! Gives me something to look forward to after work :)

Lucky you! When mine was a little un I was pleased to get half an hour.

Can’t complain now, but I find that when you think to yourself that everything’s fine something horrible happens.
