Thursday. Yesterday turned out rather pleasent, the sun shone for most of the day, but the wind kept the temperature down.

The sky is clear, but it's cold outside. Venus is twinkling just above the hilltop. We are promised lots of wet stuff as the day goes on however.

Tiggy did his Speedy Gonzalez routine again, out for his supper and five minutes later was back in Tiggy Towers. Sensible lad.

Chugging along nicely here.

Had a couple of extra blokes in the workshop today, usually there are 3 of us, got them a project to work on, discovered I'd left myself not much to do.

Awarded myself an early mark.

Dunno yet. I repaired a friends carpet shampooer yesterday and 'road tested' it on the office carpet, it will need another go, so I will do that today, doesn't take long, the rest depends on the weather.

fine ta..bit of shopping for me today, looking bit brighter but still nippy..

There's frost on the cars this morning. The sun is up, so it won't last long.

the garden centres will be rubbing their hands with glee, all those, and there were many, folks who rushed out over Easter buying bedding plants will need to buy..again...still too early here by a good month...

The frost has caught a lot of people out. A shame really. But, as you say, the garden centres will be delighted.

happens every year, just because the plants are on sale does NOT mean it is time to plant them !

Morning everyone. Looks like there's a bit of frost on the cars this morning.

I can see the sense in that. Vera used to buy hanging basket plants, the garden I have no idea what she did, but it always looked lovely, she must have bought some! I must have been looking the other way! :o}

fine to buy now and grow on in a greenhouse with a bit of heat Boaty, but not in garden just yet !
